+ What is a Vintage Box subscription?
When you sign up for a Vintage Box subscription, you select a three-month or six-month automatic, reoccurring monthly charge program for the box type you'd like, all have a retail value of $100. Your secured payment information on file will be processed before your Vintage Box ships. By signing up for a subscription, you save on the cost of each box. You also have the ability to purchase a box month-to-month at full price.
+ Why is each box different?
The HCS Team actively acquires diverse collections of collectibles. Our inventory is continuously growing & varies as merchandise is processed. While we ensure that each Vintage Box holds an estimated retail value of $100, different items from across various categories, formats, & genres are handpicked each month, so no two boxes are exactly the same.
+ How do you determine an item's "retail value"?
The value of vintage items are continuously impacted by changes in consumer demand as well as the overall condition of an item. We take into account pricing & sales data from numerous sources such as various online reseller platforms, auction houses, speciality shops & retailers, as well as industry-leading price guides.
+ How do you define “VINTAGE”?
Currently, we define the “vintage” era as the time period when an item was originally manufactured & sold in stores prior to the year 2000. This means that each item in the Vintage Box is at least 20 years old!!
+ What is inside the Hobbyist Box?
The Hobbyist tier Vintage Box is randomly fulfilled by the HCS Team with items worth an estimated retail value of $100 such as vintage comic books, graphic novels, video games, action figures, toys, t-shirts, trading cards, memorabilia, & so much more! The Collector tier Vintage Box is not randomly fulfilled by the HCS Team. You help us to narrow down the specific categories, genres, & vintage eras from which we select the vintage comic books, graphic novels, video games, action figures, toys, t-shirts, trading cards, memorabilia, & so much more, worth an estimated retail value of $100! + What is inside the Connoisseur Box?
The Connoisseur tier Vintage Box is fulfilled by the HCS Team based on more specific selections that you make from the specific categories, genres, & vintage eras from which we select the vintage comic books, graphic novels, video games, action figures, toys, t-shirts, trading cards, memorabilia, & so much more worth an estimated retail value of $100! + Where do the items come from?
The HCS Team actively acquires diverse collections of collectibles from all over the country. Our inventory is continuously growing & varies as merchandise is processed. We work to ensure that the Vintage Box offers a great variety of items to meet your vintage needs.
+ What if I do not want an item that is inside my box?
While we hope that does not happen, we know that everyone has specific tastes & interest, so we have created a closed Facebook Group where you can buy, sell or trade items that do not fit into your collections.
+ When will you bill me?
Your payment method on file will be charged shortly before your Vintage Box ships. If you signed up for the 3- or 6-month subscription for the added discounts, you will be billed when your first box ships for the entire amount of your subscription.
+ When will my box ship?
Your Vintage Box will be shipped once your payment has been successfully processed. If you have signed up for one of the 3- or 6-month subscription plans, you will have the option to select your shipment date of the 15th or the 30th of the month.
+ What is your return policy?
All HCS Vintage Boxes are sold on a 100% returnable basis as long as the items are all present & in the same condition as sold. All you have to do is pay for return shipping.
+ Does an autographed item come with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA)?
No. Whenever we acquire vintage collectibles in small or large collections, sometimes there are autographed items. Take for an example a signed comic book. Based on our decades of experience buying, selling, & trading signed comics, if a creator's signature appears to be inauthentic or suspicious, then we do not offer it to our clientele until further verification is complete. From time to time, at private signings or local conventions, we will directly hand comic books to their creators for signature. In those instances, we have witnessed the autograph & are beyond confident in it's authenticity.
+ What do you do with my contact information?
We do not sell your contact information to anyone. We will reach out to you occasionally to update you on your subscription and to notify you of any upcoming offers, but that is it.
